What is a 3D Scan?
A 3D scan is a non-invasive, radiation free method of mapping the surface of your body. You can use our app on your mobile phone or tablet to capture the scan. mign will use your scan to digitally design a brace to fit your needs.
Will I have any out of pocket costs?
The scan is completely free. mign designs are covered by most insurance plans. mign will work with you and your local physician to obtain the necessary documentation. If you’d like to pay out of pocket for the brace, National Scoliosis Clinic has a self-pay price.
When will I receive my brace?
Lead times will vary based on speed of insurance authorization. Once authorized, you can expect your brace to ship out within a week.
Why type of brace will I be receiving?
mign will determine what brace suits your needs best based on your physcian’s recomendations and your initial mign evaluation. All mign braces are created to address the specific needs of our patients and their body types.
