With a diversity of creative and technical skills, our team has earned more than 40 medical device and consumer product patents during our combined century of reimagining the standard of care. Lisa Tweardy, founder and ceo, mign, is passionate about reducing preventable harm and accelerating the commercialization of new medical technologies. Over her 30+ year career in medical devices, she was VP Orthopaedics, UNYQ, CEO for Combat Medical, General Manager, Biomet Bracing, Vice President, Orthopaedics and General Manager, Spine at Ossur. Lisa has been awarded 19 patents and has published research in Spine and Journal of Neurosurgery. She earned an MSE from the Univ of Pennsylvania/Wharton and a BS from Lehigh University.
